Kaylie and Jarod's Wedding
FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS
-
When is the RSVP deadline? Please RSVP through our website by February 5th.
-
Where do I RSVP?We invite you to RSVP after receiving the wedding invitation by scanning the QR code on our invitation. Or, you can get the link through the RSVP tab on our website! The password can be found within the invitation.
-
Can I bring a +1 with me?Unfortunately, we are not allowing plus-ones unless they are shown in the RSVP. We apologize for the inconvenience.
-
Are kids allowed? While we both work with and love kids, we are asking guests to leave the kids at home so you can have your own date night! We are only able to accommodate children in our family. We appreciate your understanding!
-
What should I wear (dress code)?Attire for the wedding is semi-formal/cocktail! We suggest men wear a suit or dress shirt and tie, and women wear cocktail-length, full-length, or knee-length dresses. We do not prefer a certain color, but if you do want to avoid matching the bridesmaids, avoid wearing dusty blue ;)
-
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors, with a little outdoor walk between each building. With how unpredictable Texas weather can be, we wanted to provide a more comfortable experience!
-
How do I get to and from the venue, as well as parking details? The wedding venue is located in Montgomery, Texas. There are numerous hotels within the surrounding area if you desire to stay in the area overnight. There will be no shuttle service to/from the venue, as there is plenty of parking at the venue on a grass/dirt lot! You will not be allowed to leave your car overnight at the venue.
-
What time should I arrive to the ceremony? Please plan to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. This allows sufficient time for everyone to find parking and seating before the ceremony starts, keeping the wedding timeline on schedule so no one has to stay later than expected. The ceremony is at 4:00pm!
-
How long will the whole wedding last?We understand people are busy, and many have commitments they need to return to on Monday, so we do not plan on having a late or long wedding. Our ceremony will start at 4:00pm, with dinner being served starting around 5:45-6:00pm. We plan to have our send-off at 9:00pm. Please try to say hello to us at some point during the evening before you leave- we don't want to miss anyone!
-
Will there be food served at the event?Yes! Immediately following the ceremony, the cocktail hour will have appetizers and lights snacks. Dinner will be a dinner served buffet-style.
-
What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions? Please reach out to us and let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions you may have! There will be a section for notes within the RSVP link. Please include any dietary notes within your RSVP! We want you to enjoy the evening with us through the dinner and fellowship, so we will forward any notes to our caterer to make sure all food details are covered for our guests.
-
Will there be drinks at the event? At the reception, there will be choices of water, tea, and other refreshments. We will have a coffee bar available for specialty coffees and hot chocolate! As for alcohol, we will be having a limited amount at our wedding.
-
I have more questions. Who do I ask?If you have more questions, feel free to email us at jarodandkaylie@gmail.com or call us at 214-991-0031!

Can I take pictures and/or post pictures at the wedding?Yes, within reason! We understand firsthand the desire to capture moments so they last, and we encourage this, but also be mindful. We don't want you to miss being present during the event, and we suggest you are aware that your phones do not get in the way of our professional photographers. We are not prohibiting pictures at the ceremony, as long as there is no flash, but we would prefer pictures to be taken during the reception time.
